In the morning, you will make your way, 10 km away, to what used to be the largest Zapotec city: Monte Alban. Strategically located on a mountain, it will impress you with its large square and 3 main structures: the building of the Dancers, the South Platform, and the Great Ball Court. A special GRIT Freedom chair will be provided for those who need it.
After this visit, you will have lunch and make go to Santa María el Tule. There, you will get to see the famous tule tree, which boasts the largest trunk in the world.
You will then go back to the city via a Mezcal distillery, where you will discover the semi-artisanal process of this traditional drink.
