History lovers will be able to learn more about many topics, such as the Civil rights movement, Dr Martin Luther King, or the civil war, while many outdoor attractions and the nearby forest will please nature enthusiasts. Lively and vibrant, Atlanta also offers a popular international food scene, and hosts many events and festivals. With so much to offer, it is no wonder that Atlanta is part of the top 10 most-visited cities in the US.

We have prepared the following program for our customers. However, all our products can be tailormade! Get in touch so that we can accommodate your needs and requests!

Day 1. Arrival + Atlanta introduction tour

Welcome! On this first day, you will meet with our premium adapted vans partners : VMI, at the location of your choice, either at the airport or in the city centre. They will hand out the keys to your own adapted vehicule for this trip in Atlanta city. Once comfortable with the van, drive safely to your hotel to proceed to check-in.
After resting a bit, it will be time to meet up with your guide for the first tour of this trip. On board of your van, they will give you a perfect introduction to Atlanta in about 2 hours. Find out more about the city’s history and culture, while driving through iconic areas, and neighbourhoods. Explore the city’s innovative urban landscape, discover Civil War and Civil Rights history spots and witness the vibrant street art… This tour is the perfect way to get a feel for Atlanta as you arrive in the city.

Later on, drive back to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day as you so wish.

Day 2. Food Tour + Centenial Park

Today, enjoy Atlanta like a foodie! We recommend you have a light breakfast, as at 11:00, you will discover Southern food thanks to a walking guided tour. With 15 different tastings, from 7 different food stops in Atlanta’s historic downtown neighborhoods, this tour will take you on a 3 km-long journey.
Get away from the beaten path, walk through the oldest neighborhoods in the city, visit Atlanta’s oldest market, and have a taste of Dr. King’s favorite meal in the unofficial headquarters of the Civil Rights movement, while listening to interesting and entertaining stories about Dr King, the Civil Rights Movement, and Atlanta in general.
After some rest, make your way towards Centenial Park at Downtown Atlanta for a self-guided tour to discover its main attractions. Originally built for the 1996 Summer Olympic Games, it is now a popular centre for visitors as it hosts many events and concerts. Major Atlanta landmarks are also located in the area, including the College Football Hall of Fame, the Georgia World Congress Centre, the Center for Civil & Human Rights, the World of Coca-Cola, Georgia Aquarium, and the CNN Center, to name just a few.

Day 3. Stone Mountain Park + Departure

Today, after breakfast, discover Stone Mountain Park. Located about 30-minutes drive away from Atlanta, this popular family-friendly spot covers 13 km² of natural beauty, and offers a wide range of activities, natural and historic sites, and recreational options for all ages.
We suggest that you start this self guided tour with accessible van around 9:30, with the skyride tour. This cable car will take you up to the top of the stone, providing you an amazing view of the surroundings. You can go to the top of the mountain on your wheelchair, but some light assistance might be needed.
Later, discover the Historic Square where you will be able to see old Georgian houses and learn more about the past of Atlanta. While there, you can also have a look at the Farmyard, where visitors can get close to sheep, goats, pigs but also turtles and rabbits depending on the season.
After that, you could have lunch at the Commons Restaurant, located inside the Gold Club, before heading to the attraction(s) of your choice for the rest of the day.

Later on, depending on your time of departure, meet with our partners VMI at the airport, or wherever convenient in Atlanta city centre, to hand out the keys to your accessible van.
