The best timing to enjoy the whale watching is early in the morning. For this reason, this tour will start after a 6:45 check in at Olowalu, when your certified lifeguard guide will instruct you on paddling and safety, and accommodate any special needs before getting on the water.
Once into your kayak, a special sound machine will be provided by your guide to let you listen to the sound of the whales.
Depending on the season, and weather conditions, you might get lucky and witness adult whales teaching their young how to breach or notice the different ways that whales use to communicate amongst themselves.
If conditions are favorable and you are interested, snorkeling equipment will also be provided, so you can admire the surrounding fishes and corals.
A snack consisting of fresh locally grown pineapple skewers, locally made kettle chips and water will be handed to you during the tour.
*Sighting whales is almost certain but cannot be guaranteed.
