Dynamic and yet traditional, discover many points of interest, from imperial cities and ancient temples to sunny beaches, from flowers markets to colorful pagodas, from exotic food to unique arts and crafts… This 13-day accessible trip will give you a taster of what Vietnam and Cambodia have to offer.

We have prepared the following program for our customers. However, all our products can be tailormade! Get in touch so that we can accommodate your needs and requests!

Day 1. Arrival in Hanoi

Your local guide will welcome you at the airport, where a transfer to your hotel will be organised for you. After about an hour drive, proceed to check-in, rest a bit and enjoy the rest of the day.

Time allowing, depending on your time of arrival, enjoy a guided tour of Hanoi, the capital city. You will start this tour by discovering the lively yet calm historical quarter of Hanoi, and visiting Ngoc Son Temple. It is located at the centre of the Lake Hoan Kiem, also called the “”Lake of the Returned Sword”” and is accessible via a traditional bright red bridge. Then, you will make your way to the well-known “”36 old streets and guilds”” old quarter, where every street has it own specialty such as sweets, metal works, coconut carpets, silversmiths etc. As you wander through the neighborhoods, you will also see some old building and temples.

After the visit, make your way back to the hotel, and enjoy the evening as you so wish.

Day 2. Hanoi

Today, after breakfast, continue discovering Hanoi, with a guided tour of the Ethnology Museum. The museum focus on the 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam, their habits and ancestral traditions.

After the visit, you will have lunch in a Vietnamese villa, before spending the afternoon discovering Ho Chi Minh, the most renown man of the nation. You will indeed visit his mausoleum and his former house, where many of his personal belongings are displayed.

After visiting the One Pillar Pagoda, the iconic Buddhist temple, make your way back to the hotel to relax a bit.

In the evening, enjoy a water puppet show. This Vietnamese art is performed with traditional live music in the background, as the puppets, representing fishermen, farmers, servants, emperors, animals etc. are brought to life to tell easy stories about the daily traditional Vietnamese life.

Day 3. Dry Halong Bay

Today, after breakfast, you will make your way to the “”dry Halong Bay””, about 2 hours away from Hanoi. Offering an impressive landscape of karst mountains, it consists of 1 of the most spectacular scenery in Vietnam. While there, you will get a chance to visit a lost temple in the countryside, and enjoy a walk, surrounded by karst mountains in rice paddies.

You will then have lunch in a local restaurant and enjoy regional specialties.

In the afternoon, find out more about the region and its dynasties, while visiting some temples.

You will then be transferred back to your hotel in Hanoi.

Day 4. Hoi An old town

Today, after breakfast, you will make your way to the airport for a short flight to Danang, in the centre of Vietnam. Once landed, you will meet up with your local guide and get transferred to your hotel in Hoi An.

Part of the UNESCO World heritage sites list, Hoi An is entirely pedestrian and a great place to wander around and shop.

After checking-in your hotel, you will discover the city thanks to an exciting food tour. Find out more about Hoi An history and culture, while sampling street food for about 3 hours! At every stops, between 15 and 20, depending on how adventurous or hungry you are, your guide will give you details on the unique flavours you are about to sample, and details on the local know-how that is passed from generation to generation.

After the visit, you will make your way back to the hotel.

Day 5. Hoi An countryside

Today, after breakfast, you will discover the authentic Hoi An countryside. After a 10-minute drive, you will get to the village of Tra Que, located along a little canal. There, your guide will let you know more about the village history, but also its agricultural activity, and the ancestral manual techniques that are still used.
Later on, walk along the plantation fields to get to your next activity: a cooking demonstration. Enjoy watching how the local food is made and try some of their specialties, such as Tam Huu rolls and Ban Xeo pancakes.

Lunch will be served after the cooking demonstration.

After lunch, enjoy a relaxing foot or neck massage under a bamboo hut.

You will then be transferred back to the hotel, and enjoy the rest of the day as you so wish.

Day 6. Hoi An leisure

Today, enjoy a full day in Hoi An as you wish to do so. Discover the old town, stroll around the pedestrian streets, make the most of the many shops and restaurants… and let us know if you need suggestions!

Day 7. Arrival in Saigon

Today, after breakfast, you will make your way to Danang airport, where you will take a 1h30 flight to Saigon.
Once landed, you will meet with your guide and get transferred to your hotel.

After check-in, time to explore Vietnam’s economic capital: Saigon, also named Ho Chi Minh City. Witness the trendy youth and luxury shops as you go on a city’s architectural highlights tour. You will not only visit Notre Dame Cathedral, but also the Central Post Office designed by Gustave Eiffel and the Reunification Palace (also called Independence Palace). Later on, enjoy a break in the park, while tasting one of the locals’ favorites: cà phê sữa đá, a sweet iced coffee.

Later on, you will make your back to your hotel.

Day 8. Saigon

Good morning Saigon! After breakfast, you will head to Tao Dan Park, in the heart of the city, where you will witness the locals performing Tai Chi. Vietnamese do wake up early to enjoy the morning fresh air, to exercise and hang out with their domestic birds!

Later on, make your way to Ho Thi Ky flower market for a colourful visit. Enjoy the unique sight and smell of the tropical flowers as you wander around.

You will then be transferred back to your hotel for a bit of free time.

In the afternoon, depending on your interested, you can choose to go to central market for a bit of shopping, or to the War remnant museum.

Day 9. Mekong Delta

Today, after breakfast, enjoy a day away from the city as you depart for the Mekong Delta, about a 2-hour drive away.
One of the wealthiest region in the country, it boasts many small canals with traditional boats, endless rice paddies, lush orchards and welcoming locals.
In the morning, you will visit a local market, where you will find all the produces coming from the Mekong region fisheries and orchards.
You will then continue your journey by visiting a coconut candy factory.

Later on, you will have lunch in a local restaurant, along the river banks.

In the afternoon, you will take a local ferry boat to explore one of the small islands of the region.

After your visit, you will be transferred back to your hotel, in Saigon.

Day 10. Saigon + Transfer to Siem Reap

Today, you will travel to Cambodia for the second part of your trip.
Enjoy some free time until you get transferred to the airport, depending on your departure time. Time allowing, visits in Saigon can be organised to fit with your schedule. Let us know if we can be of any help!

Once landed in Siem Reap, your local guide and driver will welcome you at the airport, where a transfer will be organised for you.

After having collected your temple pass, you will start your 1st visit of Angkor Thom. Surrounded by 8 meter-high and 4 km-long walls, the city boasts great monuments. You will enter via the South Gate, decorated with huge sculptures representing elephants. Once inside, you will get to visit the Bayon Khmer temple, known for its serene and smiling faces.

After the visit, make your way back to the hotel, and enjoy the evening as you so wish.

Day 11. Rice fields and temples tour

Today, after breakfast, you will make take a drive through the rice paddy fields and local villages, to visit one of the beautiful red sandstone temples: Banteay Srei. Dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva, it is considered as one of the most beautiful examples of Khmer architecture.

After the visit, you will go back to your hotel to relax a bit and/or go or lunch in the city. Your guide will give you recommendation of accessible restaurants in town, if needed.

In the afternoon, you will visit the early-Angkor era temples of the Roluos Group: Bakong, Lolei, and Preah Ko.

After these visits, you will make your way back to the hotel.

Day 12. Ta Prohm and Angkor Wat tour

Today, after breakfast, you will make your way to Ta Prohm temple. Part of the UNESCO World Heritage sites list since 1992, Ta Prohm is one of the most popular temple in Angkor. Used as a film set for Tomb Raider movie, it offers a special atmosphere. The famous trees growing out of the ruins and the surrounding jungle make it truly unique.

After the visit, you will go back to your hotel to relax a bit and/or go or lunch in the city. Your guide will give you recommendation of accessible restaurants in town, if needed.

In the afternoon, you will visit the most famous of all Angkor temples: Angkor Wat. Prime example of the classical style of Khmer architecture, it is breathtaking! Its inside walls are all covered with sculptures representing Hinduism mythology, wars of King Suryavarman II and the well-known 2000 Apsara dancers. Enjoy a magical sunset as you visit the temple!

Later on, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 13. Siem Reap city tour + Departure

Today, after breakfast, enjoy a city tour of Siem Reap. Visit the local market, make the most of the river side, and discover ancient Cambodian arts and crafts as you visit the Artisans d’Angkor workshops. Take in the city relaxed vibes, and enjoy some free time until you get transferred to the airport, depending on your departure time. Time allowing, visits can be organised to fit with your schedule.
