Cusco is one of those iconic destinations that every passionate traveler wants to explore. Thanks to the Wheel the World special adaptive equipment, everyone can explore the coolest places of Cusco and its surroundings.


Arrival to CuscoDay 0 - Arrival to Cusco
You will arrive in Cusco, historic heartland and former capital of the Incan Empire. Your local guide will welcome you at the airport and will transfer you to your hotel. On route, he will explain you the next few days' activities.

Cusco City TourDay 1 - Cusco City Tour
Guided city tour of the most characteristic places in the center of Cusco, vivid example of the mixture of Inca and Spanish cultures. On the way, you will see the Stone of Twelve Angles at the Inca Roca Palace, on Hatun Rumilloc Street, “The Temple of Qoricancha”, and San Pedro Market. Night in Cusco.

SacsayhuamanDay 2 - Visit Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo and Tambomachay Temples
In the morning, you will visit the huge “Inca Ceremonial Center of Sacsayhuaman”. This enormous structure overlooks the city of Cusco. Later, you continue visiting another important Inca site known as “Qenqo”. This is a place with subterranean passages and carved stone channels in a zigzag pattern. In its inner part, there is a carved stone table where it is said the Incas mummified their dead. Afterward, you will do a short visit to the archaeological Inca sites of “Tambomachay” a temple dedicated to the God of Water and “PucaPucará”.
After these visits, you will return to Cusco and have a free afternoon.

OllantaytamboDay 3 - Visit the Sacred Valley and Handbike around Ollantaytambo Town
In the morning, travel by private car through the Sacred Valley (approx 2 hours total drive), on the outskirts of Cusco. You will head to a community in the Valley to learn about local lifestyle and activities and if our visit coincides with the market day you can spend time browsing the stalls in search of hand-painted beads or warm ponchos and maybe practicing some of the local language, Quechua. Later you will continue to the town of Ollantaytambo which has been built over an ancient Inca town. We will ride an adaptive bike around Ollantaytambo and explore its beauties (no previous experience needed).

Day 4 - Visit Machu Picchu
Time to explore Machu Picchu! This morning you'll wake up quite early in preparing to take an early train (depending on availability the train may depart between 6 and 8 am) you will take the train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes.

We've found out that Joëlette wheelchair is the best way to enjoy Machu Picchu. You'll have a guided tour and also free time to explore and take any photos you want. In the afternoon, you will return by bus and train to Cusco and spend the night there.

Day 5 - Kayaking in Piuray Lake
Discover the Andes from a unique perspective: 3,720m above sea level on an adaptive kayak in Piuray Lake.

At Piuray Outdoor Center we offer a break from the usual tourist route, by offering you a way to experience the outdoors away from mobs in unbeatable natural settings. Once settled we begin with: a gentle breathing exercise, a yoga-based warm up, and safety briefing on land. We then enjoy a leisurely kayak in mirror flat waters ideal for beginners and experts alike. Returning to land to enjoy a buffet and in magnificent surroundings.
In the afternoon enjoy a wonderful weaving show, live demonstration of the techniques and how they use local plants for cloths.
Finally we will return to Cusco and have a final dinner!

Day 6 - End of Trip
The trip comes to an end today after breakfast. You will be transferred to the airport for your flight.
