Wheel the World Easter Island
To develop the first outdoor tourism program in Easter Island for locals and travelers with disabilities in the most remote place on earth.
10% of Rapa Nui’s population have a disability. 120.000 tourist visits the island every year and only 1 person with disabilities per year visit the island. Tourism in Easter Island is based on trekkings, cycling, and nautic sports activities. There is no adaptive equipment for people with disabilities in the island.
We are creating the first inclusive program for people with disabilities. The expedition: to develop a program that includes 2-days of wheelchair trekking, 2-days of inclusive cycling + 1-day of scuba diving.
