New York City is a one of its-kind destination, with a lot to offer to its visitors. Most populated city in the United States, it is considered as one of the richest cities in the world in terms of culture, art, fashion, sport, tourism and a lot more. The enternainment industry being prominent in the city, a lot of books, films and series are set in New York, making walking around the city feeling like walking through a film set.

Day 1. Arrival

Enjoy your free time by getting into the New York City atmosphere. If you are looking for recommendations on things to do on this first day, please get in touch! We have many more activities for you!
Accessible transfer from the airport/station of your choice to your accommodation can be arranged for you at an extra cost.

Day 2. Central Park + Museums

Central Park is a very well-known park set in the heart of Manhattan, in New York City. It is one of the most filmed places in the world and about 40 million people visit it every year, making it the most popular urban park in the United States. It features many amusement attractions and sports facilities. For this activity, you will meet with our guide at your Hotel at 930 and enjoy a leisurely walk/stroll around Central Park through accessible ways. You will learn everything about its story, architecture and more. There are accessible restrooms available, wheelchair accessible paths and accesses.

We would suggest continuing your day at The Metropolitan Museum of Art of New York City which was opened in 1872 with the mission to bring art and educate the people of the United States. Often called «the Met», it is now the largest and most visited art museum in the country. It features paintings, sculptures, and works of art from classical antiquity and ancient Egypt to modern art. It is also home to works of art, musical instruments, antic weapons, armors, costumes, and accessories, from all around the world. We can coordinate the ticket purchase (not included). Visitors with disabilities and caregivers can get a free entrance ticket from a ticket counter.

Day 3. The wonders of midtown NYC

You will be picked up at your hotel to discover some of NYC main attractions on a walking tour. You will get to know Time Square, one of the world’s busiest pedestrian areas, the commercial buildings complex of Rockefeller Center, the luxurious and elegant 5th Avenue, the Neo-Gothic-style Roman Catholic Saint Patrick Cathedral, the iconic Grand Central Terminal and much more.
Later on, you will make your way into the subway via an accessible path to get to the Chelsea Market, where you will have lunch (not included).
The tour will finish with a walk at High Lane elevated park.

Day 4. Taste of Manhattan history + Downtown Manhattan

You will meet up with your guide at City Hall, to go onto this guided tour that focuses on both history and food.
You will make your way around the Lower East Side, visiting 100-year old bakeries, churches, markets, and historic sites, wander around the streets of Little Italy and Chinatown, visit former and still operating Jewish synagogues, get into Latin culture at a community garden and visit cultural sites like the African Burial Ground.
Along the way, sample dumplings, pretzels, cheese, and other ethnic dishes, learning more about immigration and how it impacted nowadays New York food scene, in a fun and tasty way!
After this food-themed tour, you will meet your new guide for the second tour of the day, to discover downtown Manhattan. You will get to know Wall Street, the famous home to the 2 largest stock exchanges and other financial interests companies, the World trade center memorial, commemorating the 9/11 terrorist attacks and the 2 977 people killed, the popular Trinity Church, Battery Park and more! You will finish the tour in a stone street area, where you will be able to have dinner if you so wish (not included).

Day 5. Statue of Liberty cruise + Departure

After checking out from the hotel, a transfer in an accessible taxi will be organized for you, so you can enjoy a boat tour aboard one of the largest tall ships in New York City. Get close to the Statue of Liberty, take in the city famous skyline and enjoy a sightseeing tour of the New York Harbor!
Access to the boat is done via a gangway. Plenty of staff will be able to assist whoever needs it. Wheelchairs can come right aboard or can be stowed during the sail as needed.
Later on, a private transfer from the hotel to the airport/station of your choice can be arranged for you at an extra cost.
