    A transfer from the airport to your hotel will be organised for you, in an accessible van. After check in, rest a bit and enjoy the rest of the day as you wished to do so, before your first guided activity tomorrow. Are you up to some shopping? Today is the day! The city is quite accessible so feel free to go out and explore. And let us know if you require suggestions!

    Get to see all of San Francisco must-see highlights thanks to this 4-hour guided tour.

    After breakfast, you will be picked up in an accessible van, directly from your hotel to head to your 1st stop: the Mission District. This neighbourhood is known for being an outdoor art gallery. Enjoy the colourful walls and fences and take in the vibrant atmosphere as you stroll through picturesque Balmy, Cypress and Lilac Alleys.

    You will then get back to the vehicle and pass through Valencia Street eclectic neighbourhood, Downtown, where you will see the City Hall, Civic Center, China Town, and the Italian neighbourhood.
    Descend the iconic Lombard Street, famous for its curved street and beautiful flowers, as you make your way to Fisherman’s Wharf, Marina District and then The Palace of Fine Arts.

    You will then discover the Presidio, a military base during the civil war, that now holds the Disney Family Museum.
    You will stop for lunch at a food truck (not included) and head to Fort Point, one of the best spots to get an amazing view of the Golden Gate Bridge.

    The tour could not be complete without a drive through Golden Gate Park! After a quick tour, you will be going through Haight Ashbury neighbourhood to soak up on the San Francisco historic hippie vibe. It’s home to many vintage clothing boutiques, record shops, bookstores and eclectic restaurants.

    The next 2 stops in Alamo Square and Twin Peaks, focus on providing you amazing view spots over the city and the hills.
    On your way down, you will drive via Castro Neighbourhood, known for its gay culture on your way to your last stop: Dolores Park.

    You will then be driven back to your hotel. Alternatively, you can stay longer in the park and enjoy the coffee stores around.

    Get ready for an exciting accessible tour that combines nature and culture as you discover 2 of California’s landmarks in one day!

    Your guide will pick you up in an accessible van, directly from your hotel, to start your drive to the iconic California Redwoods at Muir Woods National Park. As you leave San Francisco, you will stop at a viewpoint to admire the Golden Gate Bridge and the city skyline. About 40 minutes later, you will get to Muir Woods, where you will enjoy a self-guided tour.

    Discover its impressive diversity of flora and fauna, that either lives at a low level, on the forest floor, or above your head, on the canopy. You will not only get to see the majestic redwoods, but also Steller’s jays, ladybugs, ancient horsetail ferns, and banana slugs.

    You will explore the park via the main accessible path. If you are a manual wheelchair users, you might need a little help in some specific areas. Assistance will be provided whenever required.

    After the park visit, you will go back to the accessible van to make you way to Sonoma. There, you will be able to try some of the area’s best wines and have a quick lunch in the historic Sonoma Town Square.

    In the afternoon, enjoy 2 one-hour long visits and wine-tasting experiences in 2 well-known accessible wineries.
    You will then make you way back to your hotel in San Francisco, via the picturesque seaside town of Sausalito, and passing across the Golden Gate Bridge once again.

    Day 4: Monterey and Carmel by the sea day trip thumbnail

    Enjoy a day-trip from San Francisco to the seaside towns of Monterey and Carmel by the sea!

    You will be picked up from your hotel between 8:00 and 09:00, in an accessible van.
    The sightseeing begins even before you arrive in Monterey, as you get there via a scenic route. Between the mountains and the Pacific Ocean, the Highway 1, or Pacific Coast Highway offers breathtaking views, and occasional sighting of sea otters and surfers. About 2 and a half hours later, you will arrive at your destination.

    Stop for a bite to eat before arriving at Monterey’s Cannery Row. This walking district, full of restaurants, cafes and boutiques, was once the center of the local fishing industry. Enjoying the next few hours as you wish to do so, by taking in the atmosphere, make the most of the beach, or visit the famous Monterey Bay Aquarium. Entrance tickets can be organised for you for an additional fee.

    Later on, make your way to Carmel-by-the-sea on the famous 17-mile drive ! This scenic road will take you through the towns of Pebble Beach and Pacific Grove on the Monterey Peninsula, following the Pacific coastline and passing by attractions and famous golf courses, including the Lone Cypress and Bird Rock.

    While in Carmel-by-the-sea, famous for its natural scenery and rich artistic history, wander the streets and many art galleries. Stop at the Carmel Plaza, known for attracting artists like Jack London, Upton Sinclair, Mary Austin, and Ansel Adams.
    You will then make your way back to San Francisco, via the Silicon Valley, the world high-tech capital. You will then be transferred back to your hotel.
