You will meet your guide in Jacint Reventos Square and travel 5 minutes to the lively Sargardi, a Basque tavern serving delicacies including fish purchased from the fresh fish market located only a few steps away. Staff will be available to assist you on the walk and throughout the tour, if necessary.
At Sargardi, you will have a chance to try pintxo, a slice of bread with various different toppings. You will be able to try 3 different pintxo, accompanied by a drink, which you can choose from a selection of beer, wine, cider or a range of soft drinks.
After your pintxo, you will leave the restaurant for another 5-minute stroll with your guide. Along the way, the guide will tell you about the people who the streets were named after, and you will also be able to catch a glimpse of the basilica of Santa Maria del Mar, an excellent example of 14th-century Gothic architecture. You will also walk past several notable boutiques, selling designer clothing and delicious chocolates.
The next stop on the tour will be in Cadaqués restaurant, which features very distinctive interior design based on rustic Spanish country houses. At this stop, you can choose between a traditional paella rice dish with fish and seafood, or another option from the menu. You will also be served a glass of white wine from the Emporda region.
You will then travel 5 minutes to the last destination on the tour, Restaurant 1881. As you walk, you will pass by the Museum of the History of Catalonia, an iconic building that symbolizes the cultural heritage of Barcelona.
At Restaurant 1881, you will sit on the rooftop terrace and have a moment to enjoy the view over the city. Sweet treats will be served for your dessert, starting with a dish of Catalan cream and followed by Sagardoz truffle chocolates, served with a glass of cava.
