Ready for a tour filled with Singapore's iconic spots?

You will be picked up from your hotel, to go to your first stop of the tour in an accessible van. Your first stop will be Merlion Park. Located on Marina Bay, Merlion Park is home to Singapore's most recognizable landmark: the Merlion statue. The merlion is a mythical creature with the head of a lion and the body of a fish, is known as the national icon of Singapore. Its body symbolizes the fishing village that has become Singapore, while its head is a reference to the city's original name: Singapura, that means "lion city" in Malay. The park is also popular for its great views over the bay and the city's skyline.

You will then make your way to the Raffles Hotel Long bar. Inspired by the1920s lifestyle in Malaysia, it offers unique decor from that period. It is the birthplace of the Singapore Sling, Singapore's national drink and most famous cocktail in the country. Created in 1913, it includes gin, Benedictine, cherry brandy and pineapple juice. Most customers visit the Long Bar for this iconic drink but plenty of other beverages, with or without alcohol are of course available to order.

After your trip to the Long Bar, it will be time to head to the National Orchid Garden. Dedicated to Singapore’s national flower, it is located within the Singapore Botanic Gardens and is the country’s first UNESCO Heritage Site. Home to 60,000 orchid plants, it covers 3 hectares, making it the world's largest orchid display. It features about 1000 species and more than 2000 hybrids, that are presented in 4 different color zones, representing the 4 seasons.

After your visit to the National Orchid Garden, you will be driven back to your hotel.
