On this adrenaline-pumping accessible tour, you will have the opportunity to bash through the sand dunes of Qatar in a 4x4 vehicle and admire the beautiful desert landscape.

The activity will begin with a pick-up service from your Doha hotel in a 4x4 vehicle, which is not wheelchair-accessible but assistance can be provided for transfers. Staff on the tour have experience of assisting people with disabilities. You will drive for approximately 75 minutes out into the desert, to the sand dunes of Mesaieed.

Upon arrival, the driver will deflate the car tires, check seat belts and head out into the desert. The 60-minute desert drive will take you up and down dunes, driving at steep angles and bumping along the desert floors. You will see breathtaking views of the rippling dunes and hear the singing sound of the sands blowing up and down the desert in the wind.

You will also have a stop-off at Khor Al Adaid, also known as the Inland Sea, which lies at the border of Qatar and Saudi Arabia, and is also close to the United Arab Emirates. The Inland Sea is a UNESCO-recognized natural reserve, due to the unique ecosystem that can be found there.

The drivers will also provide you with a specially designed wheelchair so you can slide down the dunes by yourself or with assistance. The chair has 2 large thick back wheels, a smaller front wheel and a push handle and can be taken along the dunes and even into the water.

At the end of your dune-bashing adventure, you will be driven back to your accommodation in Doha.
