No vaccinations are required to travel to Spain. As in any part of the world, en up-to-date anti-tetanus vaccination is strongly recommended, especially if in contact with nature and the countryside.

European travellers can be entitled to state provided medical treatment, on the same terms as Spanish nationals.
Depending on when and where you travel, the sun can be strong. Travelers should remember to drink plenty of water and avoid long period of sun exposure.
Most visits to Spain are trouble-free, but travelers should remain vigilant at all times. Pickpockets and bag snatching cases are frequent, especially in touristy areas. In general, travellers are recommended to use a hotel safe for their valuables, not to carry a lot of items with them, and if going out with a bag, make sure the strap is over their shoulder.

Citizens of a EU country, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland or Lichtenstein need to present a valid passport or ID card.
Other travellers must hold a valid passport, have a current visa, and should be able to explain why they are visiting the country as well as justify having enough funds to live during the period of time they are intending to remain in Spain. The visits cannot exceed 90 days.
